Vancouver Canucks hook up young fan with awesome experience ahead of Thursday's game

The Vancouver Canucks’ Canadian home stand continued on Thursday night as they welcomed the Winnipeg Jets to town for their third game of the season.

During the pre-game warm-ups, the Canucks had a special guest on the team bench and Ben Hutton and Jake Virtanen made it their goal to provide the young fan with some memorabilia and spent some time chatting with the youngster instead of warming up.

You can bet the young Canucks fan is going to remember this moment for the rest of his life. He’s also not the only young hockey fan who got hooked up by his favourite team on Thursday night.

Ahead of the St. Louis Blues’ game against the Florida Panthers, Brayden Schenn spotted a traveling Blues fan in the crowd and gave him one of his game-used sticks.
