Duke Blue Devils shooting guard Grayson Allen has earned a reputation for himself within the basketball community as the guy who trips his opponents.
It’s not something he has accidentally done once or twice, it’s something he has done more than a handful of times and each one looks more intentional than the last one.
On Thursday night, the North Carolina Tar Heels paid a visit to the Duke Blue Devils. With that being said, UNC student body presidential candidate Joe Nail decided to dress up like Grayson Allen and went across the North Carolina campus attempting to trip people. Here’s the final result.
Since it’s obvious all of the people involved in this stunt are real people and not actors, it makes it pretty obvious that this was staged. However, staged or not, we’re guessing he just earned himself a lot of votes in the upcoming student body presidential election.
Allen and Duke got the last laugh, though, as he went on to score 25 points in No. 18 Duke’s 86-78 victory over No. 8 North Carolina.
