The Boston Bruins expected big things out of Tyler Seguin when they selected him second overall in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, so you can understand why fans were livid when they dealt the Brampton, Ontario native to the Dallas Stars ahead of the 2013-14 season.
Since joining the Stars four seasons ago, Seguin has accumulated 133 goals and 306 points in 305 games with the team. His 305 points ranks him fifth in the entire league for most points over the past four seasons, trailing only Sidney Crosby (362), Patrick Kane (328), Jamie Benn (324) and Nicklas Backstrom (313).
On Wednesday afternoon, Seguin took on three Dallas radio hosts, Bob Sturm, Jake Kemp and Dan McDowell, all by himself in a friendly hockey game and you can probably imagine who came out on top.
The radio hosts also had 14-year-old Casey in between the pipes for them for the game, while Seguin flew solo and left his net wide open.
Seguin didn’t mind playing all by himself as he got off to a quick start against his opponents and never looked back.
After the game was all said and done, Seguin ended up coming out victorious with a big 7-2 victory over the Dallas radio hosts.
