Thursday night was another notch in the storied career of LeBron James. LeBron led the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 135-102 victory over the Boston Celtics, sending the Cavs to the NBA finals for a third straight season – the 7th consecutive final appearance for LeBron personally.
On top of this ridiculous feat, LeBron further cemented his name into the NBA’s record books by becoming the all-time leading post-season scorer, passing the legendary Michael Jordan. Comparisons to Jordan’s greatness have been a common theme throughout LeBron’s career, but when asked about what it means to break the record LeBron had a few comparisons of his own.
Tristan Thompson’s priceless reaction basically summarizes what fans think about LeBron’s “bald” comment. While LeBron does currently have hair, his hairline isn’t quite as close to his eyebrows as it used to be.
Regardless, fans had plenty to say about LeBron’s comment and the reaction of Thompson.
The post-game conference reached another level when Kevin Love whipped out his cell phone for a quick mid-presser selfie with James, Thompson, and J.R. Smith. He didn’t bother waiting for a break in the questions, instead opting to snap the picture right in the middle of LeBron’s response.
While Kevin Love’s photography may have stolen the spotlight during the press conference, Love knows just how important it is to appreciate just how incredible LeBron is when the post-season rolls around.
