Nearly 20 years ago, Molson Canadian released an ad known as ‘The Rant’ and it became an instant hit across Canada.
The ad featured a man named Joe, an average Canadian who goes on a rant in a movie theatre while difference Canadian images show on the screen behind him.
A couple of days ago, members of the Toronto Rock had some spare time so they decided to recreate the commercial just for fun.
There are currently two Americans on the Rock’s roster, while the rest of the players are Canadian, so pretty much everyone on the team can remember this ad and relate to it in a way.
As for the two American players, they probably had no idea what was going on while all of this was taking place.
