Once again — literally for the third time in four years — the MLS Cup final will see Toronto FC taking on the Seattle Sounders. Of those previous matchups, each team has won one to claim a championship for themselves, so the rivalry is even more tense this time around.

Of course, Toronto mayor John Tory had to get involved. He struck up a bet with Jenny Durkin, the mayor of Seattle, on the outcome of the final.

These range from the trivial (the losing city will light up in the colours of the winning team; Tory potentially sends a Drake CD to Durkin) to something genuinely cool: Donations to local charities for each scored by their respective teams.

That might be reason enough to root for a high-scoring final, regardless of the result. Although, the idea of the mayor of Seattle having thoughts about “Marvins Room” is also a fun concept. It’s Toronto’s very own Sleepless in Seattle!

Unlike the last two MLS Cup final matchups between these two teams, this year’s game is taking place in Seattle’s CenturyLink Field. We won’t speak for the players, but TSN MLS analysts Kristian Jack and Steven Caldwell are definitely enjoying their time in the Pacific Northwest.

@kristianjack and @stevocaldwell had no problems with the fish toss in #Seattle 👏😂
