One of the biggest problems in life can be determining whether you go for a handshake, fist bump, or hug when congratulating or greeting a teammate, friend, or long lost acquaintance. There’s a ton of factors that go into choosing the right gesture, and if you screw-up, you’re setting yourself up for an embarrassing moment, especially if it’s a person that holds some significance that isn’t in tune with some of the common handshakes these days.

Enter head coach Bill Belichick, who isn’t exactly proficient with the contemporary ways of greeting one another.

Talk about awkwardness. At least Brady was committed the whole time. This boils down to communication between the two, which is usually immaculate when it’s out on the football field. Belichick goes into defensive mode and just shuts Brady down, something he usually reserves for the Patriots opponents.

This might be one of the few times that Brady and Belichick were not on the same page. You know Bill is already a making tactical adjustment and preparing himself for the next formal encounter with his quarterback.
