After years and years of waiting, Tim Raines is finally heading to the National Baseball Hall of Fame. He was a seven-time All-Star, three-time World Series champion and a four-time NL stolen base leader, to say the least, but he was still forced to wait until the last possible moment to find out he’s heading to Cooperstown.

Of course, since Raines spent a majority of his career with the Montreal Expos, he’s treated like one of Canada’s own north of the border and plenty of baseball fans were very happy to hear his name called.
