Vladimir Tarasenko is an all-world sniper in the National hockey league, so there are few people that could be better to learn from when trying to stop pucks.
Luckily for Tarasenko’s step son, Mark, he has the opportunity to learn from the best in a world class facility.
Tarasenko apparently regularly takes him out on the ice at the Scottrade Center and talks to him about the sport. This has apparently been going on since as early as 2015, when Tarasenko spoke about this after-hours ritual with his family.
Now though, we finally got a sneak peek at their training.
Tarasenko clearly takes it pretty easy on Mark for that shot, but Tarasenko taking it easy would be a howitzer for many others. Also, judging by how many pucks have clearly already been fired his way, there were surely a couple that he let loose on.
Training on an NHL rink, with an active NHL superstar; it doesn’t get much better than that in terms of training. Not bad for a ten-year-old.
