Carey Price has been missing from the Habs net for 18 days, and with the Habs losing four of their last five games, fans have been starting to panic.

Things seemed to get worse last week after Price suffered a small set back in his recovery, but attitudes have flipped after fans watched one of his drills from this morning’s practice. John Lu posted a video of Price taking shots from Habs’ goalie coach Stéphane Waite and he makes the drill look effortless.

Habs fans took notice of his flawless movement in the drill, assuming he’s fully ready to go.

Unfortunately, Price isn’t fully ready to return to the ice. His movement gave fans optimism, but Claude Julien quickly put a damper on that by saying that the star goalie remains day-to-day and will not be starting the team’s next game.
