Although it wasn’t a very close game, Kevin Durant’s return to OKC had plenty of Drama.
There was a lot of anger on the court, but the fans were getting in on the action too. They opened the night by booing Durant in warmups, and then proceeded to chant “Cup-Cake” at him.
It even went as far as someone in the crowd wearing a massive cupcake costume.
Well, just as they owned the Thunder tonight, the Warriors chose to own the nickname as well. Taking some of the shirts that were meant to taunt Durant and wearing them in post-game interviews.
This is just more of the Warriors embracing their new Super Villain roles in the NBA.
