When a player retries from the NBA, it hasn't become official until the last team he played for retires his favourite flannel shirt. Wait, what?
Matt Bonner was a fan favourite on several teams from college to the pros, including with the Toronto Raptors, and retired from the NBA one week ago.
Bonner was a truly unique player and personality, which is why wherever he played, fans would quickly gravitate towards him. The Spurs hung his flannel shirt from the locker room rafters, a truly fitting way to say goodbye to a legend.
Bonner is somewhere shedding one single tear.
