The Colorado Rockies social team has no chill.
A couple of days ago, Jeff Samardzija crushed a home run against the Rockies, setting a Statcast record for a pitcher with a 446-foot bomb. It was an impressive swing, but the job he was actually there to do didn’t go so well.
The Shark went six innings in the game, allowing 8 runs in a 10-8 loss to Colorado. The Rockies did not let him forget that, as when MLB posted about the home run on Instagram, they made sure to let the world know that it was all for not.
Here’s the full video of the home if you want to watch it.
The Rockies are talking the talk and walking the walk this season, as they have the best record in the NL. The Shark never stood a chance in that thin Colorado air.
