Russell Westbrook, reigning league MVP, certainly has never been known for his accommodating personality. While some players will give a good interview no matter what the context, Westbrook’s media interactions seem to be dependent on how he’s feeling. Needless to say, his “I-don’t-give-a-blank“ attitude would certainly be intimidating to handle when it’s staring right down on you.
For example, here are some of his past media interactions (Warning: NSFW language):
One reporter let his butterflies show when he stepped up to the mic and felt the overwhelming aura of the man they call “Brodie”. The MVP stares down at the stuttering journalist with a subconscious intensity until the poor questioner backs off and admits defeat.
At least the reporter can find solace that he made Westbrook laugh, sometimes that seems as though it’s next to impossible to do.
