There are always fantasy theories about what a good football player LeBron James would be, but you can get a glimpse of his skills in a big pickup game against Kevin Durant.
The NFL tweeted a video from back in a showdown in Akran from 2011, where Bron captained a team against a Durant captained team. KD has a solid game, but LeBron dominates on both sides of the ball with pick six after pick six. In the end, LeBron’s team comes out on top by one score.
LeBron has a stature that makes him look like he was built to play football, but the slim reaper probably isn’t too worried about a flag football. He’s looking to get off to a good start playing basketball and clinching his first ring.
Probably the biggest obstacle in Durant’s way could be if LeBron takes over the game like he did in that football game. If the Warriors lose again this year, it’s going to start seeming like the only way someone else could get a ring would be if LeBron pulled an MJ and actually went to play football.
He’s given us a glimpse of what that would be like in the past.
