The Minnesota Timberwolves are preparing to unveil a new logo tonight at half-time of their game against the Thunder.
They released several promos suggesting that the new look would have a nod to the past, but build toward the future of the team, with Andrew Wiggins, Karl-Anthony Towns and Zach LaVine at the helm. It’s pretty epic.
However, the reveal may have been spoiled.
The images appear on the Star Tribune’s website and two Reddit users combine to first notice the slip up and then capture it in high quality (Shoutout to u/Scooter212 and u/NoBrakes58). The T-Wolves are going with the popular circular style that seems to be taking over the NBA and was even adopted by the Toronto Raptors.
