The bat flip was a well known happening before Toronto Blue Jays' outfielder Jose Bautista launched his bat into oblivion in that famous Game 5 ALDS game, but his flipping of the bat put bat flips on the map in Toronto. No player had flipped the bat in such an emphatic way, and in such a huge moment, before in all of Canada's baseball history.
With the number of bat flips seen since then, the Seattle Mariners are pretty over the celebration. But if a team declares they're over the bat flip, then what bat celebration will they use after hitting massive dingers in clutch situations.
The Mariners took some time during Spring Training to each experiment with a new celly, and asked fans to submit their own.
