We understand the pettiness of hockey teams and we know that they will go to extreme levels to get under anyone’s skin. However, this rivalry seems a little weird but anything goes in the NHL I guess.
The LA Kings bought up some ad space on Twitter in Edmonton simply to troll Oilers fans of the time the Kings beat the Oilers in the 80s.
The Kings aren’t even in the playoffs this year and they haven’t even played the Oilers once this season which is what makes this so odd.
This takes Twitter beef to a whole new level!
