Last night, after rumours began to swirl, DeMarcus Cousins was eventually traded to the New Orleans Pelicans.

Over course, many NBA fans are excited about the potential of probably the two best big men in the NBA, but many are too disappointed in the Kings return to even care yet. While the trade hasn’t been made official, reports are that in exchange for Cousins (And Omri Casspi) the Kings received:

  • Tyreke Evans (Averaging less than 10 points a game)
  • Buddy Hield
  • Langston Galloway
  • 2017 1st and 2nd round picks

There were three waves of reaction to this. Last night, was the initial wave of shock. Then there were two different fan base reactions: Kings fans and basketball fans. While their reactions weren’t entirely different, one group’s feelings were closer to rage and the others just saw an opportunity to make fun of a team.
