There was a lot of hype coming out of Dolphins camp this year about how good the team, specifically the offence looked.
The hype took a turn for the absolute worst, though, when Tannehill went downin practice and reports surfaced that he would be out for the entire season.
Sunday, that fact may have been confirmed as the Dolphins reportedly signed Jay Cutler to a one-year deal.
Cutler's retirement clearly didn't last long, and the internet produced a lot of different and interesting reactions to him coming out of retirement to play for Miami.
In all seriousness, Cutler has a great opportunity as he reunites with the man he had his best season with, Adam Gase.
Plus, the Dolphins are loaded on offence, so Cutler has a great chance to be successful. If the past has taught us anything, though, this move could go well or wrong, and we can't wait to find out which one it will be.
