Although many fans consider Toronto to be the best hockey city in Canada, the city of Montreal might have something to say about that.
In terms of history, no team has a richer past than the Habs and no team has won more Stanley Cups in the history of hockey.
Plus, at one point in time the province of Quebec was home to two professional teams, and fans have rallied together to make it known that they want another team in their province in the future.
For now, though, fans will have to settle for an AHL team coming to Quebec as next season will be the first for Montreal's future farm team, the Laval Rocket.
Tuesday afternoon, the team gave fans something to cheer about before their inaugural season as Laval revealed their new jerseys and logo, and they're fire.
Feel free to share your thoughts on the new sweaters, but we think they look incredible.
That being said, the little details are what make the jersey stand out. The No. 9 on the sleeve honouring the one and only Maurice "Rocket" Richard is a wonderful touch to say the least.
For those wanting to secure tickets, seasons tickets will be available during a pre-sale blitz as early as February 7th.
