The Vegas Golden Knights have been getting a lot of attention from all avenues leading up to their first NHL season, so it’s no surprise they’re attracting a lot of advertisers.
Not only have they been able to attract a lot of advertisers, but they also found one that fits with their reputation.
Consider Las Vegas’s nicknames: Sin City, Entertainment Capital of the World, City of Lights, Glitter Gulch etc. Now add in their most famous quote “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” and you can get a pretty good idea of what the reputation of the city is. People like to party in Vegas and partying as hard as they do there can often lead to a pretty rough hangover.
Well, that’s where their sponsor comes in.
The ad is for a drink that claims to be a type of Hangover prevention, and their spot is already paying off. They’re receiving a lot of attention on Twitter alone and we’re sure a lot of people are searching it online to find what it is.
Even the Golden Knights acknowledged the sponsor last night because fans were Tweeting about it so much.
Hopefully for NHL players coming to town, the stuff really works.
