If you’re not familiar with auto-racing, ‘The Big One’ is a term that applies to a big wreck that usually involves five or more cars.

Our question is, can a race have more than one ‘Big One?’ Because we think that this year’s Daytona 500 might just have three.

The first one, which was probably the most significant and stunning, took place with ten laps to go in the race, and took out a whole slew of cars.

Pretty devastating stuff.

Then, with six laps to go, and the notion that ‘The Big One’ was already behind them existing through the track, another ‘Big One’ happened, and took out another five cars.

Here’s a view from Ryan Preece,  who avoided that one like a complete wizard.

Those are two major crashes in some of the final of the 200 laps, so you’d think that would be the end of them.

So did we, but we thought wrong.

With just two laps to go, there was ANOTHER ‘Big One’ that eliminated another seven cars from the track.

This is a pretty unbelievable amount of epic wrecks in one race, and Twitter was quick to light up with some pretty hilarious reactions.

Congrats to Denny Hamlin on his win, but honestly, the more impressive feat might be avoiding all these crashes.
