No one was expecting a whole lot from the Buffalo Bills at the start of the 2017 season, and yet, there they are...sitting atop the AFC East standings at 3-1 after Week 4.
Sunday, the Bills surprised the defending NFC Champion Atlanta Falcons on the road after nailing two late field goals in the fourth quarter. With the win, the Bills climbed to the top of the AFC East after the Patriots fell to the Panthers in Foxborough. Now that's definitely reason to celebrate. Following the huge win, Bills head coach Sean McDermott showed his gratitude to his team by waiting outside the locker room and shaking the hands of absolutely every single member of the squad's staff.
It's only McDermott's first year in Buffalo, but he's already managed to show why fans of the Bills have every reason to be excited about the future. Despite their current position in the AFC East the Bills still are not favourites to make it to the playoffs, but anything can happen in the NFL, especially with strong team chemistry.
