Last week, a majority of the Caribbean and Florida got hit by the extremely powerful Hurricane Irma. Millions of people were forced from their homes and are still dealing with the aftermath from the catastrophic storm.
As a result of the record-breaking storm that forced so many from their homes, the Atlanta Braves offered free tickets to Florida residents all weekend long during their four-game series against the Miami Marlins.
The last minute decision by the Braves franchise was a very nice gesture and it helped a lot of people escape from reality for a few hours; 18,562 people to be exact.
Very classy move by the Braves organization.
