The Colorado Avalanche have had a rough season.
We could probably stop pointing that out, but it’s shocking to look at every time we see their point totals. They have 55 losses and only 47 points. Part of the reason for that is a league worst .893 Sv%. In practice, it appears they’re trying out some alternatives as Gabriel Landeskog posted up between the pipes in practice.
He has some good form, but it ended with him sprawled out on the ice.
To be fair, he didn’t really get a proper chance in players’ equipment, he may be a very talented goalie for all we know.
We know they have started decreasing the size of goalie equipment, but this is definitely a step too far. Still, there have been some positives for the Avs lately, as Tyson Jost scored his first NHL goal last night.
If his grandfather felt like this seeing him make his debut, we’re sure the goal only made things sweeter.
