The first week of the Canada Games is coming to a close in Winnipeg, Manitoba, which means the first group of young athletes are finishing up competition, and the first round of sports are concluding.
One of the sports that finished up on Friday night was Men’s Basketball, which saw Team Alberta take on Team Ontario in the gold medal game. The Ontario Men’s Basketball team went undefeated in pool play, before taking down Team New Brunswick in the quarterfinal, and Quebec in the semifinal.
Their dominance continued Friday night, as they defeated Alberta 108-65 to win Canada Games gold.
