The Syracuse Crunch hosted one of the greatest promotional nights of the season on Friday as it was Slap Shot Night at the Oncenter War Memorial Arena in Syracuse.
As part of the team’s tribute to the 40th anniversary of the movie's release, they played the entire game in fantastic replica Charlestown Chiefs uniforms.
However, the players didn’t just throw on the jersey and that was it. Instead, they went all out and did their best Hanson Brothers impression for a team photo and the warm-ups.
The Crunch became the first professional team to get permission from Universal Studios to recreate the sweaters to wear in an actual game and they did not let them down.
