Remember when the Nashville Predators were on the outside of the playoff picture looking in?
Well, those days feel like they were so long ago. The Predators won their fourth straight game Tuesday night to pad their lead on third place in the Central to six points on the Blues.
A big reason why the Preds have been so great lately is the play of Filip Forsberg, who has been tearing it up in his last five games.
Forsberg scored twice against the Sabres and added an assist to continue his hot play, and after the game, P.K. Subban didn't even bother to touch him when Forsberg offered him a fist bump because he's just "too hot" right now.
We're surprised Forsberg isn't fanning himself at this point, that's how hot he is right now.
With 19 games remaining, Forsberg could surpass his career high of 33 goals (last season) as he already has 26 this season.
