Steve Nash did it all when he was in the NBA. Whether he was passing the ball, driving to the basket, or shooting from long range, Nash was always a threat when he was on the court. He was one of the original players who helped make basketball popular north of the border, and showed the NBA that Canada has some serious talent.
Nash spent most of his childhood in Victoria, British Columbia, and he is still very active there to this day. Of course, growing up in Canada you can bet that all of his time wasn’t consumed by basketball and he made time to lace up a pair of skates every now and then.
Nash looks really good on the ice for a 42-year-old who played professional basketball for nearly half of his life. Nash has always shared videos of him playing soccer in the past, but he hasn’t shared much of him on the ice. Winter is just beginning, so perhaps this is just a preview of what’s to come.
