The 2017 NHL Stadium Series game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers at Heinz Field is right around the corner. With the Penguins off until Saturday, members of the team got a tour of the stadium from someone who calls the stadium home as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Linebacker Arthur Moats has been with the Steelers since the 2014 season, so it’s safe to say he knows the stadium like the back of his hand by now. On Wednesday, the 28-year-old linebacker volunteered to show members of the Penguins around his office and give them a behind-the-scenes tour of the place they’ll be calling home on Saturday.
The ice surface isn’t complete yet, but Conor Sheary and Bryan Rust still got a pretty awesome behind-the-scenes tour from Moats.
They even gave him a few pointers about hockey, but they probably won’t do him any good the next time he steps foot in Heinz Field for his own business.
Hopefully they got some extra hitting advice from the NFL linebacker, because Saturday’s game should be a battle.
