Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos has run into a bit of bad luck over the past few seasons. The 27-year-old has had two of his seasons cut short due to injuries, including the 2016-17 campaign that was shortened to just 17 games, and he’s looking to put that in the past.

On Monday, Stamkos shared some footage from his workout last week at Gary Roberts High Performance Training and it looks like his knee problems are behind him and he’s ready to go for next season.

Stamkos has not played an NHL game since November 15, 2016, but he looks like he’s ready to get right back out there like nothing’s happened.

Hopefully he’s able to bounce back this season and stay healthy all year long because the NHL is a little more exciting when Stamkos is on the ice on a nightly basis.
