No matter how many films are spawned out of the Rocky franchise, they always manage to capture our full attention. To be perfectly honest, Sylvester Stallone could put out a Rocky movie a year, and we would be front row centre for every film.
Unfortunately for us, Stallone definitely couldn't put out a Rocky film a year. First of all, that would be impossible to do from a film-making standpoint. The time it takes to write a script, cast actors, film everything, and then go through post-production, it simply isn't possible. But more importantly to this post, the physical toll the movies took on Stallone were apparently excruciating.
Sly has been very active on Instagram recently, and posted a Flashback image from the filming of 'Rocky III' detailing his diet at the time. A grueling diet which included "very small portions of oatmeal cookies made with brown rice and up to 25 cups of coffee a day with honey and a couple scoops of tuna fish."

Another interesting detail about Rocky III disclosed on Stallone's Instagram recently is how Joe Frazier lost the part as Clubber Lang.
