If any Cleveland Indians fans checked the forecast on Saturday before heading out to the ballpark, they knew they didn’t have to worry about any delays.
However, anything can happen in baseball.
As Cleveland attempted to battle back from a 4-1 deficit against the Minnesota Twins, they had to put the game on hold for a few minutes due to a squirrel that got loose on the field.
Fans and players seemed to get a kick out of the squirrel running around on the field as it was chased around by the grounds crew.
Even the fans at home loved what they were seeing take place on the field.
Squirrels and alligators are currently in a serious competition to show the world which one loves sports more.
