It was a big day in Boston for sports.
Aside from the Red Sox playing at home against the Rays Monday afternoon and the Bruins hosting the Senators in Game 3 of their series, the Boston Marathon also happened.
Although the Patriots are off for the summer, they also made an appearance at the Marathon as a way of motivating runners.
Allow us to explain, a spectator decided to make a sign that not only mocked Falcons fans, but also motivated runners, and it was a sign all too familiar to Patriots fans.
New England needed a special kind of strength to erase a 25-point deficit and complete the greatest Super Bowl comeback ever.
They were Boston Strong, and there's no better way to motivate anyone to accomplish anything with that reminder.
