In a season where a lot of the talk in Canada is about the Leafs, Flames, Oilers, and Canadiens, the Ottawa Senators have kind of been flying under the radar.
We imagine that won't last much longer, though, as the playoffs are right around the corner and the Sens are in second in the Atlantic Division, two points back of Montreal for first with two games in hand.
They've also won six straight games after beating the Avalanche Saturday night.
Things are going pretty well in the nation's capital, and Sens prospect Thomas Chabot gave fans of the team another reason to be excited Saturday night with this spectacular coast-to-coast goal.
In 33 games this season, Chabot has 43 points and is a ridiculous plus 28.
Imagine a top pair featuring Chabot and Erik Karlsson, or at least a power play unit featuring the two.
Fans may not have to imagine that possibility for much longer if Chabot keeps playing this.
