Rockies, Padres forced to hit the ground after swarm of bees takes over the game

The San Diego Padres and Colorado Rockies went head-to-head in a Cactus League game on Thursday afternoon.

Near the end of the game, the teams got an unpleasant surprise from a swarm of bees, which had no problem disrupting the game and taking over the field.
 

This isn’t the first time bees have swarmed a baseball game, but this might be the first time we’ve seen just about every player on the field drop down like there’s a robbery taking place.
 

It’s not pleasant getting stung by a bee, so you can’t blame everyone for dropping the way they did.
