The Minnesota Timberwolves were in Milwaukee on Saturday night for a date with the red-hot Bucks. The two teams went back and forth during the first half, as they went into the break all tied at 48 apiece.
With the Bucks leading by 5 with just under six minutes remaining in the first half, T-Wolves point guard Ricky Rubio stepped up big time and drained a circus shot like we’ve never seen before.
Rubio was probably as shocked as everyone else to see the ball actually go through the hoop, but if you ask him he’ll probably just tell you that’s what he meant to do.
Unfortunately it was not enough in the long run, as the Bucks went on to defeat the Timberwolves 102-95 for their sixth straight victory.
