While on a visit to Chris Sale's Alma mater Florida Gulf Coast, the Boston Red Sox new pitcher decided to show off on the basketball court for his new teammates. Sale threw down some dunks to the surprise of the other Red Sox players, and was probably feeling pretty cool at his old school. Big man on campus.
Enter Red Sox pitcher Joe Kelly, who was tired of Sale getting all the attention, picked up a basketball, and completely one-upped Sale by draining a full-court shot.
The full-court shot happened on his fourth attempt, so it's not as impress as we're making it out to be... but it's still really impressive. Just think, Steph Curry couldn't hit a half-court shot on All-Star Game Saturday Night when put on the spot, yet Kelly just drained a full-court shot on his fourth attempt. Impressive stuff.
