Baltimore Ravens’ Justin Tucker is one of the greatest kickers to ever play the game. This season, the 27-year-old only missed one field goal attempt, finishing 38-for-39 and a 97% accuracy rating. However, this wasn’t just a one-year deal for Tucker. Since entering the league in 2012 as an undrafted free agent, the two-time Pro Bowler has made 89.84 percent of his field goals, which ranks him first on the NFL’s all-time list.
Playing in his second Pro Bowl this weekend, Tucker was warming up at practice on Wednesday afternoon and accomplished something no kicker has been able to accomplish in an NFL game.
Nothing says you deserve to be in the Pro Bowl like casually hitting a 75-yard field goal during practice. Obviously things are a lot different in a game situation, and teams would never attempt a field goal from that far out, but it’s pretty awesome to see him boot a 75-yard field goal through the upright.
Tucker’s longest field goal came back in 2013 when he nailed a 61-yard field goal. The record is 64-yards, so if he were to hit a 75-yard field goal in a game he would absolutely shatter the record and make it pretty much untouchable at that point.
