The 2018 NHL Draft is still months away, but Rasmus Dahlin continues to lead the way as the top prospect heading into the draft.
The 17-year-old Swedish defenceman is currently playing in his second season with Frölunda HC of the Swedish Hockey League and he continues to tear it up on both sides of the puck.
On Tuesday, the Frölunda Indians went head-to-head with HC Bílí Tygři Liberec in the Champions Hockey League and the future NHL prospect was at it again on the offensive side of things.
After picking up the puck along the boards, Dahlin makes it seem as if he’s going to cut to the net and then feed it to one of his teammates at the last second for an early goal. However, instead of dishing the puck to someone else, he decides to just do it all on his own and score from the nearly impossible angle to give his team the 3-2 victory.
