However, Raptors fans were forced to face a different feeling on Tuesday night after news broke that Patrick Patterson was off to the Oklahoma City Thunder after signing a three-year deal worth around $16.4 million.

Although Patterson wasn’t exactly thrilled when he was first traded to the Raptors back in 2013, he made the best of his opportunity and ended up falling in love with the city during his time in Toronto and quickly became a fan favourite.

As you probably expected, Raptors fans were sad to officially see him go on Tuesday night.

Patterson played four seasons in Toronto where he averaged 7.6 poinys, 4.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and .5 blocks per game in 273 games with the Raptors and he will surely be missed by the fans.
