Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett is expected to go first overall in this year’s NFL Draft. While fans and organizations are still learning new things about this year’s draft class, Garrett is one player they’ve learned a lot about over the past week and a half.
Last week, the Arlington, Texas native went viral after he recorded a message for Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys, asking them to make a trade with the Cleveland Browns so they could select him first overall in the 2017 NFL Draft.
On Saturday, Garrett took to the mic and made a few things clear. The first thing he brought to light was the video he made for the Cowboys. The 21-year-old told the media he plans on apologizing to the Browns later today during his meeting with the team, which is probably a good idea since they’ll most likely be signing his pay checks over the next few years.
The second thing he wanted the media to know is who he wants to sack the most once he makes it to the NFL.
He probably would have liked to sack Peyton Manning if he was still playing in the NFL, but he’s just wanted to let everyone know which side he’s on when it comes to the Peyton Manning vs. Tom Brady debate.
