Phil Kessel has a tendency to get himself in some hilarious scenarios.
One of the most well-known moments was the hilarious selfie that a girl took with him while he was in the penalty box. Now, he came close replicating another famous hockey blooper, but in reverse. Last night, Kessel was following Marc-Andre Fleury out onto the ice and the Flower’s stick got caught in the boards, blocking Kessel from getting on.
Here’s the video that Kessel came close to replicating.
Luckily, Kessel has much quicker reaction time and was walking rather than skating, so he avoided the embarrassing fall the followed Mitchell Skiba’s tumble.
With the way rookies get led onto the ice to skate by themselves or goalies have tripped coming out of the tunnel, it seems like the closer you are to the front of the line, the more likely you’ll fall victim to some trap, intentional or not.
Our advice is to always come out of the dressing room last.
