Awe yes, the year of the blown leads – how many memes, internet trends and other jokes you have brought us.
From the Thunder, to the Warriors, through the World Series and the Grey Cup and finally ending with the Super Bowl, throughout the year there have been constant blown leads. The most recent one, the Super Bowl, was a 28-3 blown lead for the Atlanta Falcons and the internet seems to have discovered that today’s date (March 28), has both of those numbers in it.
Let the floodgates of blown lead jokes open (The first one is probably good advice for Falcons fans).
