In his short time in the majors Yankees slugger Aaron Judge has already become a folk hero in New York City. Although Judge is currently in the midst of a slump, the 25-year-old Yankees star has put together an MVP caliber season at the halfway mark on the year, breaking records and making millions of fans on the way.
Much to the dismay of Yankees, an old picture of their new hero sporting the gear of their dreaded rival has emerged. Judge may currently sport pinstripes, but at one point in time he was a fan of wearing Red Sox gear.
Does this matter? Absolutely not, as Judge grew up in California as a self-described Giants fan and is currently a Yankees player. But it is still pretty funny to see Red Sox and Yankees talk about Judge's choice of attire online.
Don't expect to ever see Judge in Red Sox attire again. Well, unless he signs for them like Johnny Damon or Roger Clemons.
