The NFL has been hit hard this season by the injury bug to the league’s top players.

And that was before the Seahawks lost pro-bowl shutdown corner Richard Sherman with a ruptured Achilles this past Sunday.

One of the biggest injuries to crush a team this year was when the Giants lost start receiver Odell Beckham fractured his ankle that resulted in a season-ending injury.

Beckham had reached out to Texans rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson after the potential MVP candidate torn his ACL during practice in early Novemeber.

On Wednesday, Beckham continued to provide support for his injured peers around the league. The 25-year-old reached out to Sherman via Twitter, and showed some love by hoping the Seahawks defensive stud will make a speedy recovery.

The NFL doesn’t want to see their stars players out of the lineup no matter what, but in today’s day and age, it’s pretty cool to see the public interaction between the NFL’s best. A simple tweet instead of a text allows millions of people to see it, and potentially add their own positive note in, while allowing the average joe see that their sports heroes are just normal human beings like you and I.
