The Toronto Raptors hosted the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night. The Raptors entered Tuesday night’s contest with just one win in their last seven games and were looking for any kind of spark to get back to their winning ways.
With the Raptors trailing by 5 points in the third quarter, Norman Powell stepped up and gave the Raptors a little boost of energy by throwing down a monstrous slam dunk over Anthony Davis.
Two minutes after throwing down that emphatic slam over Davis, Powell made him his victim him yet again.
The Raptors went on a nice little run following those big plays by Powell and went on to outscore the Pelicans 31-15 in the third quarter.
