The NBA may be in the middle of reforming their social media policies to keep the banter between teams and players clean, but the MLB clearly doesn't mind seeing trolling on Twitter.
An old picture of New York Mets pitcher and son of Odin, Noah Syndergaard, has been circulating the internet for a little while now. Yeah, Syndergaard looks a little less Thor like in the old image, but he's certainly outgrown the look. Tuesday, the Mets mascot, Mr. Met, paired the image with some fine word play, tweeting out a funny Valentine's Day tweet.
Syndergaard took the bait, and quickly the friendly jabs turned into a full on torching.
Expect things between Mr. Met and Thor to be a little awkward tomorrow morning at work.
