As the great Deion Sanders once said, "Look good, you play good."
That's kind of hard for hockey players to do, though, considering they block shots with their faces, they fight, and occasionally they may get the odd stick or skate to the face.
The missing teeth and black eyes are badges of honour to hockey players, though, and they make them look good in the eyes of fans who think they are the toughest athletes on the planet.
That being said, there are also the players how have the fabulous flow that hockey fans love, and this is where Deion's quote comes in. If the flow is off, maybe that player's game is off.
Sounds ridiculous, right? Well, Marcus Foligno probably agrees with us based on the fact that he fixed his hair during his fight with Shawn Thornton Tuesday night.
It was a bold move to say the least, but it paid off as Foligno, who isn't known for fighting, got the takedown. All anyone could talk about in regards to the fight, though, was the fact that he fixed his hair, and of course, Marcus' brother Nick shared his thoughts on the move on social media.
That's brotherly love at its finest right there.
Marcus proved he's "pretty" tough, but this season he's also proved he's pretty offensively talented, too. With 9 points in 31 games, Foligno is on pace to shatter his career high for points in a season, which is 23.
